It extends the formulation of ElastomericX by including strength degradation in lead rubber bearing due to heating of the lead-core. WebCyclosiloxanes are the usual products of hydrolysis of difunctional silanes. The relative proportions of the oligomers formed depend upon the substituents and conditions employed. They polymerise on heating, particularly in the presence of a catalyst, but this process can be reversed at higher temperature if no cross-linking has occurred.
