There are cans that supply vacuum via the intake tube, but unless you have a really restrictive air intake this is going to provide minimal if any vacuum. They also have some very good informational videos and comparison test.
Web25 nov. 2024 · Just got home and I have plugged the pcv with a 3/4” cap right where the sensor is on the intake. Hoping a capped off breather won’t throw any codes, although the open breather will. Also plugged the return line from the can. Im a little late to the party but just to include some experience Ive had. I did alot of research prior to receiving my truck, and decided on a catch can as one of my first installs. I have also read of this mighty mouse problem, so that was immediately out.

"The bottom line is that most catch cans that have filter media will catch "some" oil. Unfortunately, due to the size of the media strand cross sectional diameter, a good percentage of oil droplets will pass by the media and end up in your intake.
